This trail begins with scenic drive from kathmandu to Khudi & continues through lush rhododendron forest, terraced farmlands, authentic Gurung villages including Simpani, Ghalegaun, Ghanpokhari, Bhujung, pasgaun & Pakhrikot before ending in Pokhara. Upon arrival, one of our Representative will give you a warm welcome first and then accompany you to the Hotel. In the evening, we will have a meeting at the hotel to brief you on the entire trip.
After having breakfast, we will take a jeep or hiace to khudi. A scenic drive from Kathmandu follows the Prithvi Highway and Marsyangdi River corridor to reach Khudi but first we will reach Besisashar, the gateway to the Annapurna region and administrative hub of Lamjung. On the way, you will see terraced hills, rivers, and rural settlements.
From Khudi, we will do a shot hike towards simpani, a rural village famous for its agricultural lifestyle. Simpani, mainly inhabited by Gurung community but other significant ethnic groups residence there including Chhetri, Bahun, Kami, Tamang, Sarki, Damai & Newar. Which gives you an experience of multi-ethnic & multi-cultural communities.

After having breakfast, we will head towards one of the most authentic Gurung village of this trek. First, we will reach Ghalegaun, a famous & ancient village of (Ghale) Gurung community. In Ghalegaun, we will see the Gurung museum which reflects the traditions and history of Gurung people.
Passing through Ghalegaun, we will reach another traditional Gurung village, Ghanpokhari. From Ghanphokhari, you can see 180 degree panoramic views Mountains including Annapurna I (8,91m), Manaslu (8,163m), Annapurna South, Lamjung Himal, Himalchuli, Fishtail and many more.
In the evening, we may see the cultural dances like Ghatu & Sorathi, a famous dance of Gurung community people.

Today, we will wake up at early morning and walk to the highest point to see the golden sunrise reflecting with snowcapped mountains. After that we will back to the homestay, have traditional breakfast and trek towards Bhujung.
Bhujung is called “Hidden Village” of Gurung community because of its secluded beauty & which is also known as village of wild bee honey hunters. When we reach Bhujung, you will feel unique experience like you are in a Living Museum. People of Bhujung have unique ability for doing thrilling wild honey hunting.

Today, after breakfast we will explore the village and then trek towards Pasgaun. Pasgaun is the most remote Gurung village of this trek which is still untouched by modernity & give you real local experiences. Pasgaun is famous for its cultural dances like Krishna Charitra, Sati Ghatu, and Sarangi Naach.
Reaching Pasgaun, you are welcomed by the local group of Ama Samuha (mother’s group) in a traditional way.

Today, we are going to staying at last Authentic & traditional Gurung Village of this trail. After sightseeing Pashgaun, we will trek towards Pakrikhot, a beautiful, peaceful & historical significance Gurung village at Annapurna region. From Pakrikhot, you will see direct views of snow-capped mountains including Annapurna and Lamjung Himal.

Today, first we will head towards Thumsikot by saying goodbye to the beautiful Gurung villages with lots of memories made for lifetime.
From Thumsikot, we will take scenic drive to Pokhara.
Distance: 7.2km hike, 24.3km drive |Duration: 2 to 2:30 hours hike, 1 hour drive | Ascent: +200m |Descent: -1,290m
Scenic drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu. On the way, you can see rivers, terraced hills, local villages and beautiful green environment.
